Chapter 1
1. What problems or conflicts are presented in chapter one? Tao needing to find a rabbit is an obvious one; identify at least two more.
2. Predict the resolution of each conflict
Answers:#1/Well the boy found a half grown wolf but it refused to eat,and ones ore twice he felt something moving in the grass but didn't know what it was.
#2:well the wolf might eat or it might eat him.And the thing moving in the grass might just be a rabbit,just what he was looking for.

What two important events happen in this chapter?
Answer:He knew where to find a easy meal and well also he didn't know whether or not the hand of the evil spirit would strike him.

Answers:Some of the ingridients he used to make paint were:Blood,animal fat and fish oil.The one that surprised me the most was animalfat.Tao is afraid for graybeard.

1. Even if Ram had succeeded in hunting the deer, do you think it was a good idea of Tao's to "show off" his dog's ability to hunt? Explain.

Answers:I personally think it was a good idea because,if volt saw how good of a hunter Ram was,maybe he would of changed his mind because they would get more food ,and they won't have to huntting forthemselves.

Answer:WOW!!!!!!!! I can not believe it,Volt,VOLT,Volt is tao's father,OOOHHHHH MY GOD.I am really shocked,my first reaction was that i got very tense.I had no idea it would turn out like this.I certainly could not ,and i mean never of predicted volt was tao's father.wow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Answers:I think he went to the mountain people because ram was in trouble.

Tao is so shocked and surprised that volt was his father,and he thought to himself and said, "Well,if volt is my father,how come he has treated me badly?",thinking of this,tao had forgotten all about Graybeard,his master.He now began to feel very deppressed that his father didn't love him anymore,his mother was dead and his master graybeard was dead,now he had even lost his interested in painting.All he wished was to hunt with his father volt,but he had been so cruel that he didn't even wan't to see tao anymore.But stiil,tao who had been screamed at,said,"I will love my father no matter what he does"so he ran and caught up to volt his father and wanted to hunt with him but volt knew he felt bad because he had been screamed at so bad and had been treated so bad so volt felt embarrased and ashamed of himself for treating his own son with his own blood.But tao did not care,and told him to forget what had happened,and volt listened to him and hugged him.Then,Tao took volt to the place Graybeard had taught him to paint,and tao was now so exited to show his father his talent.He told him what they had maid the paints out of and how Graybeard had told him to do,to let his hand free in the wall.Now tao felt the prescense of Graybeard and he almost heard him calling him and he was happy.
